About Sue Burt Health and Fitness

I qualified as a fitness instructor and personal trainer in 2002 and since then have worked in the gym of a Health and Leisure Club, taught various fitness classes, held weight-management workshops and worked as a personal trainer with individual clients, helping them to achieve their goals. I have qualifications in gym instruction, personal fitness instruction, weight management, neuro linguistic programming and personal development coaching. I am also interested in complementary therapies and have experience as a Reiki practitioner.

As a personal trainer, my approach to helping you to achieve your goals is by gently raising your awareness of what is happening around you and what you are experiencing and also awareness of the feedback you are receiving from your body, your actions or the equipment you are using.

I understand that the power of the mind plays a huge part in achieving your goals. When your mind is focused on your goal, through positive thinking, expectation and visualization, results will be achieved.

I believe in the mind-body link and that a fit and healthy mind goes hand in hand with a fit and healthy body.

I am patient, supportive, interested in you, a good listener and consider myself perceptive and intuitive. My mission is to make a difference.

"I worked out with Sue for 3 Months. I went from 11stone 4 lb to 10 stone 4 lb. My whole shape changed. It was most rewarding. We worked in Sue’s gym plus went outside when weather was good. She taught me to recognise food for its nutritional value. I started looking at healthy food in a different way. I do have a sweet tooth but Sue showed me other food to stop the craving plus why you get the cravings. Also going out for a meal is a problem but again Sue taught me what to pick so I could enjoy myself with out the worry. Sue was very encouraging at all times and always at the end of the phone.
